First Aid Training (Emergency First Aid & First Aid at Work)
Our first aid training is highly practical, with each participant gaining hands-on experience. Training can be delivered at our site or yours.
Participants will learn how to:
- Act safely and effectively in an accident or emergency
- Assess and care for an unconscious casualty
- Recognise cardiac arrest and perform CPR
- Control bleeding safely and promptly
- Recognise and treat shock
- Maintain basic accident records
Additional topics include care for casualties who have:
- Burns or scalds
- Bone, muscle, or joint injuries
- Poisoning by ingestion or inhalation
- Eye injuries
- Signs and symptoms of major illnesses (e.g. heart attack)
